Live at Wanakam: Handpan x Sarod
There is something deeply special about finding moments of stillness in the middle of a bustling city. This evening, we are transforming Wanakam into a sanctuary of sound, bringing together two distinct musical worlds for a night of acoustic resonance and collective pause.
We are thrilled to host Handpan x Sarod, a collaborative performance by Avi and Handpan Studio Amsterdam.
The Sarod, with its deep, continuous, and microtonal voice, carries centuries of South Asian classical heritage. When paired with the modern, ethereal, and steel-tongued resonance of the Handpan, the result is a beautiful dialogue between the ancient and the contemporary. This isn't just a concert; it’s an invitation to lean back, hold a warm cup of chai, and let the music create a space for mindfulness and connection.
Come early to find a spot, grab a drink, and settle in before the music begins.
