Beyond Hotels: Family Travel in the Sharing Economy
I would like to invite you to our home for a cozy evening dedicated to sharing experiences about HomeExchange. If you have ever wondered how to travel comfortably and affordably with a family, this meetup is for you!
We will focus specifically on traveling with children, sharing our own stories from trips to Italy and Spain with our three kids. We’ve stayed in both primary and secondary residences, sometimes meeting the owners in person and other times not. I will also share what it was like for us to host a Dutch family in our home for two weeks.
What to expect:
A look at our travel pictures.
Honest insights into the pros and cons of home swapping.
Tips for hosting others in your own space.
A relaxed atmosphere to ask questions and share ideas.
Practical Information:
Refreshments: I will provide tea for everyone. If you would like to bring a little something to share—like fruit, biscuits, or something home-baked—you are very welcome to, but please do not feel any pressure to do so!
Capacity: To keep the discussion friendly and personal, the space is limited to 8 guests.
Who is invited: While I am primarily inviting my colleagues from the gymnázium, anyone interested in the topic is more than welcome to join us.
I look forward to a lovely evening of travel inspiration!
