About Event

With digital platforms becoming increasingly embedded in everyday life, suicide prevention organisations are supporting more people whose distress is shaped or intensified by online environments. This online session will convene the National Suicide Prevention Network (NSPN) to reflect on the critical issues raised by Molly Russell’s story and discuss how the NSPN can collaborate to strengthen suicide response and prevention by addressing online harms and their impact on young people.

Hosted by Molly Rose Foundation, there will be two panel discussions followed by an interactive discussion exploring how we can share knowledge and expertise, collectively create innovative interventions and raise awareness of online factors in the suicide prevention sector. As members of the network, you will be invited to share your initial thoughts and reflections to help shape the discussion. The intended outcome is to collate the insights and ideas generated and feed them back into the Network to continue discussions and develop workable solutions.
