Burnout Prevention & Stress Management

Week 3: Boundaries & Capacity

Sometimes stress isn't about having too much to do. It's about how much we're carrying—and how often we keep saying yes when our capacity is already telling us no.

In Week 3 of this four-week series with the City of Raleigh, we'll explore the relationship between stress, personal capacity, and boundaries.

We'll look at how the body can signal that we're reaching our limits, why setting boundaries can be difficult, and how recognizing our actual capacity can help prevent chronic stress and burnout.

Each 60-minute session blends brief, accessible education with gentle movement, breathwork, mindfulness, guided relaxation, and reflection.

This Week: Boundaries & Capacity

We'll explore what happens when the demands placed on us exceed our available capacity—and how noticing that gap can help us make more conscious choices about where we spend our time and energy.

You'll leave with a simple practice for checking in with your own capacity before automatically saying yes, pushing through, or taking on more.

Tuesday, September 22

No yoga experience is required. Movement is gentle and accessible, with chair- and floor-based options available.
