About Sonya Spann
Sonya Spann is a sound practitioner and founder of Vibespann Wellness, which creates restorative experiences through sound healing, mindfulness meditation, yoga, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). Grounded in evidence-informed practices, her work supports nervous system regulation, cultivates self-awareness, and invites people to deepen their relationships with themselves, their communities, and the world around them.
About Caroline Acebo
Caroline Acebo is the founder of Aural House and is a sound practitioner, music lover, and part of the Asian diaspora. She is fascinated by the intersection of the stories we inherit and the stories we tell ourselves, and how both affect the way we live. Her sessions are grounding and transformative, and her mission is to create spaces where participants feel empowered to meet themselves fully.
About Matthew Cha
Matthew Cha is a synthesist and saxophonist based in Washington D.C. His output focuses on the Buchla modular synthesizer, fusing a background in saxophone with an unrestrained pursuit of new electronic timbres.
Cha is a sophisticated live improviser, devising expressively daring performances that celebrate the nuance of the Buchla’s unique input structures and the tonal flexibility of the saxophone. Cha references free improvisation techniques as well as the jazz combo aesthetic as a foundation for genuine musical interaction in a deep electroacoustic relationship between the Buchla and saxophone.
About Kareem Mercer
Kareem is an ever evolving student of sound and movement. He holds a certification in gong studies as well as a CYT 200hr. He continues to expand and grow within his years of facilitation beautifully blending ancient and modern philosophy in his teaching style.
