Session 4 - Global Health & Development Learning Circle: Exploring Human Progress together
Join the EA Global Health & Development community for a six-part learning and discussion series based on David Nash’s course on "The History and Future of Human Progress". See here for more information on the course and its contents.
We’ll meet monthly on Zoom (fourth session: 9th of March, 19:00–20:30) to discuss one major theme each time — from vaccines and education to democracy and global governance.
This series is part course and part community space:
🌍 Learn through podcasts, videos, and readings at your own pace.
💭 Discuss key questions together in a relaxed, guided format.
🤝 Connect with others; from newcomers to experienced professionals, and share insights, frustrations, and creative ideas for the future of our field.
Each 1.5-hour session will include:
A short icebreaker;
Good news updates;
“Show & tell” of new findings in the global health and development field;
Guided discussion;
Takeaways.
