Life Sciences Luncheon with Kyle Bryant

​uCity Square is hosting an intimate luncheon series for a small but mighty group of curious life science enthusiasts. Join us to dine with our weekly celebrity in the life science field!

​This month, Kyle Bryant, a leader within the Friedrich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) will share from his experience, insights on research and treatments for Friedrich's Ataxia (FA), including key advancements at CHOP.

​Kyle Bryant is the founder and director of the bicycle ride fundraiser, rideATAXIA for the Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA). rideATAXIA has raised over $14 million for FA research since 2007. Despite his diagnosis of Friedreich's ataxia (FA) at the age of 17, Kyle has completed numerous long-distance bike rides on his recumbent trike including up The World's Highest Paved Road and successful completion of The World's Toughest Bike Race on a 4-man team, which have both been featured in documentaries, The Ataxian and The Highest Road. He is co-host of the Two Disabled Dudes Podcast. He's the author of Shifting Into High Gear, which chronicles his first ride across the country when he was coming to grips with his rare disease diagnosis.
