About Event

Come celebrate Women’s Equality Day with us 💋

After a little summer break, we’re excited to resume our IRL events— this time for the hormone health conversation we wish we’d had years ago.

Join Sandra Bendraou, founder of Bish and certified hormone health practitioner, and Dr. Jennifer Mann, ND, founder of Nova Wellness, for a conversation on the different hormonal stages you experience throughout your lifetime — from menstruation and fertility to perimenopause and menopause.

We’ll get into what healthy hormone function can look like, signs your body may be asking for more attention, questions worth bringing to your practitioner, and how to better advocate for your own health.

⭐️ What to expect

5:00–5:30 PM — Arrive + mingle
Check in, connect, and take part in our first interactive activity.

5:45 PM — Hormones Through Every Era
A conversation with Sandra and Dr. Mann on hormone health across menstruation, fertility, perimenopause, menopause, and everything we should probably have been taught in between.

6:30 PM — Ask us anything
Your questions, answered.

7:00 PM — Bish Bar tasting + community time
Taste Bish, join our second interactive activity, and spend some time with the women in the room.

7:30 PM — That’s a wrap ❤️

About Bish Bar

Bish Bar is the first protein bar for hormone and menstrual health, created by Sandra Bendraou after a decade of navigating her own hormonal struggles.

Each bar provides complete cycle nutrition with protein, prebiotic fiber, and 20+ vitamins and minerals in one convenient daily format.

We’re on a mission to make hormone health more accessible, and these events are an extension of it. 🍫

About Dr. Jennifer Mann

Dr. Jen Mann, ND, is the lead naturopathic doctor and founder of Nova Wellness. She combines conventional and holistic approaches to care, with a focus on understanding the whole person and the root causes behind complex health concerns.

Her own experiences with Hashimoto’s, endometriosis, and chronic digestive issues helped shape her work across autoimmune, digestive, thyroid, and women’s health.

💌 A few things before you come

What if the event sells out?

Space is limited, so we recommend grabbing your spot early. If we sell out, keep an eye on the event page in case additional spots become available.

Worried about cost?

Use code ALLMYBISHES at checkout, no questions asked.

Is the event accessible?

Yes — the venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have any additional accessibility needs, please email us at hello@bishbar.com and we’ll do our best to support you.

What about parking?

There is no guest parking available at the venue at 488 Folsom Street. Street parking is available in the surrounding Rincon Hill / SoMa area, including both metered and limited free street parking.

For a more predictable option, two nearby paid garages are:

One Rincon Hill Garage — 425 1st Street
Approximately a few minutes’ walk from the venue.

303 2nd Street Garage — entrance near 518 Harrison Street
Covered parking nearby, with access from Harrison Street.

If you prefer street parking, we recommend checking Folsom Street and the surrounding blocks around 1st, Harrison, and Essex Streets first. Free spaces in the area are limited, so give yourself a little extra time to park.
