A Taste of Georgia — Wildroot Food & Wine Series
A weeknight Georgian table at the farm. Wine, stories, and farm-grown food from the birthplace of wine.
Georgia has been making wine for 8,000 years. It’s also home to one of the most generous tables in the world, the supra: a family-style feast where dishes keep arriving, glasses keep filling, and no guest leaves a stranger.
A full supra can run late into the night. This is the weeknight version: Georgian wines, shared platters, and the stories behind them, all at one long table.
What to expect
Georgian wines poured throughout the evening, including traditional amber wines made in clay qvevri
Shared platters of Georgia’s best-loved food, set out family-style to pass and graze: slow-simmered stews and soups, fresh-baked bread, grilled kebabs, chicken in walnut sauce, and more
Herbs and vegetables from Wildroot Farm, cooked the Georgian way
Stories as the night goes: why these wines and dishes belong together, and how Georgians toast
Easy conversation with people you’ll be glad you met
