Reclaiming Awareness, Authenticity & Agency in Organizational Life

This presentation explores how organizational systems shape not only performance and productivity, but also nervous systems, identity, emotional regulation, and the body’s sense of safety over time. Drawing from leadership experience, organizational psychology, embodiment, and lived experience, Kendra Vantrice examines how systems condition adaptation, self-monitoring, hypervigilance, burnout, and disconnection from authenticity.

Participants will be invited to consider a deeper question: What happens when systems designed to drive performance begin shaping how people feel, relate, belong, and experience themselves? The session explores the hidden costs of organizational life and the possibility of reclaiming awareness, authenticity, and agency within systems that often shape us unconsciously.
