Virtual Campfire with Changemakers: Owning Our Bodies
When was the last time you had a truly honest conversation about your body — without filtering, without shame, without someone changing the subject?
Join us for Virtual Campfire with Changemakers, our online gathering where we come together beyond borders to spark meaningful conversations, share stories, and hold space for one another. Host Carmen Chan, Founder of Girls Be Change, brings together a small circle of women from around the world to have the conversations we don't always get to have — up close, personal, and honest.
This time, we're going somewhere close to home.
Our theme is "Owning Our Bodies."
This session is a safe space to talk about our experiences as women in our own bodies — reproductive health, sexual health, the shame we were handed, the myths we were taught to believe, the medical encounters that left us feeling small, and the moments we started taking our health back into our own hands. This session will not be recorded, so you can speak freely.
Come ready to share, vent, question, or simply listen. No topic is off-limits. No experience is too small or too complicated.
Joining Carmen for this gathering are Judith Kansiime, a safe motherhood advocate and public health leader with 15 years of experience championing women's and children's health across Uganda; and Rebeca Cabezas, an environmental lawyer and women's rights advocate.
This is not a panel. Not a webinar. Not a lecture. It's a circle. What's said here, stays here.
Come as you are. Leave feeling less alone.
In order to curate a more engaging experience, we limit each Virtual Campfire session to 10 participants only. This session will not be recorded.
