AI Tinkerers Portland is hosting the Portland site of a global hackathon with OpenAI. On Saturday, September 12, AI Tinkerers cities around the world join one shared build day.
The challenge: build a working agent for a place people already work, talk, and live, then make it meaningfully more useful because of that context. Slack, Teams, email, browsers, mobile, voice, wearables, robotics. These are examples, not tracks. Every team enters the same global submission pool.
Every team submits a title, a written description, a public GitHub repo, a two minute video, and a social post. Every eligible project from every participating city goes into one global review, with prizes announced before the event.

15:30 to 16:30 Local show and tell
16:30 to 17:00 Submit and wrap
Food and drinks are provided. Bring a laptop. Come with a team, come solo, or find collaborators in the room.
