Omaha Founders & Builders Social
Come meet people from across Omaha’s entrepreneurial community at this free social meetup. Whether you’re building a business, working on a side project, exploring an idea, or supporting others in the community, you’re welcome.
Get to know one another and discover what you have in common through organized conversations.
How it works
At the event, you’ll complete a questionnaire about your interests using Ooverlap on your phone.
The app compares the interests of everyone in the room, finds what people have in common, and uses those shared interests to organize a series of short conversations in pairs or small groups.
For each conversation, Ooverlap shows you whom to meet and the specific interests you share, giving you something to connect over right away. You’ll meet different people throughout the event and discover different things you have in common. The app can also suggest a question to explore together, helping you discover common ground as you talk. From there, the conversation is your own.

Please arrive at 2:15 PM for check-in at Baright Public Library’s Meeting Room. Have your Luma ticket QR code ready.
The event runs from 2:30 to 4:00 PM. Please arrive before the start so you can join the conversation rounds.
