​Mia Drennan founded GLAS in 2011 with just £6,000 and a credit card. Today, GLAS is the world's largest independent loan agency, operating across 10 countries and employing more than 450 people. In 2025, the business secured investment from Oakley Capital and La Caisse in a deal that valued the company at over £1 billion.
