Reflection & Connection: What Motivates Us
What motivates you on the day-to-day in your career?
To stay happy and engaged in a role/workplace, it’s key to know what motivates us and to do our best to have those needs expressed and accommodated.
At this event, to better assess our motivations, we will partake in a short assessment based upon McClelland’s Theory of Three Needs. Then we will do some written reflection questions, and have group discussions to reflect on what we’ve learned and how we can integrate findings into our life (whether it's a job search, career transition or in a current role).
The Event Flow is…
5:30 - 6 pm: Arrive, mingle & art activity
6 - 6:30 pm: Assessment & Written Reflection with provided prompts (solo) - please arrive before 6!
6:30 - 7 pm: Small Group Discussion (sharing is optional!)
7 - 7:30 pm: Continued mingling & connection
