About Event

Teaching is full of moments where we react 💥.... and later wish we’d responded differently.

Maybe it’s a comment or email from a parent that triggered you.
Maybe there’s tension between you and another educator in the room.
Or a student who pushes all your buttons - and you’re not showing up as the teacher you want to be.

In those moments, we often move straight into doing… without really understanding what’s going on underneath. 🤔

This session is a space to slow things down.

We’ll explore real situations you’re facing and use elements of Non-Violent Communication (NVC) to unpack:
– what you’re feeling
– what you might need
– and how you can communicate that more clearly

Together, we’ll explore how to bring more ease and understanding into everyday moments - both inside and outside the classroom.

This is not a lecture! It’s a space to reflect, share, and figure things out together.

Come curious. Leave with tools you'll actually use. 💚

👩‍🏫 Who is this for?
Any educator who wants to understand themselves better while connecting with other educators. Whether you're a classroom assistant, an LSE, a class teacher, or a subject teacher - this is for you!

If you've attended previous MIRA workshops, you know the vibe - reflective, collaborative, and grounded in what actually matters. If this is your first time, we promise you'll feel very welcome here!
