In her current role, she has a dual focus crafting highly engaging social impact programs for internal team members as well as campaigns to engage clients and partners.
Beryl Ramos-Acosta is an experienced HR Operations Consultant in the tech start-up space. She has spent her career at the intersection of people and operations- building the infrastructure that makes HR work seamlessly behind the scenes so organizations can focus on what matters most, their people and product. While at Sequoia she was part of the Social Impact program helping to bring visibility to many organizations and encourage employee engagement. Today she focuses on mental health programs like the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
Emma Acosta is a college student studying Sociology who believes that real change starts with real community. Currently interning with Startup Experts, she focuses on social impact work — bringing attention, energy, and action to the causes that a growing community cares about most. When she's not working toward a more equitable world, you'll likely find her on the volleyball court, where years of competitive play taught her that the best outcomes always come from showing up fully and working as a team.
