Session #3 - Meditation: The Space Between 🧘‍♀️

​We live in a world that never stops talking. Notifications, opinions, deadlines, decisions. And somewhere in the middle of all of that - you.

​Most of us have tried meditation at some point. An app. A guided session. A few minutes of trying not to think about thinking. And maybe it helped. But also, maybe it felt like you were doing it wrong.

​But do we actually know what we're doing - and where it comes from?

​What if meditation isn't about emptying your mind at all, and everything you've been told about it only scratches the surface? Meditation isn't a technique. It's a technology for understanding the nature of consciousness itself.

​In this SPARK Clubhouse session, we go beyond the technique. Not the timer, not the app, but the ancient wisdom and philosophy that meditation was always pointing towards, and what it actually means to sit with yourself.

​During this evening we'll explore:

• ​Where meditation comes from and how it travelled across cultures and centuries to reach your phone screen

• ​The philosophical traditions behind it and what they were really trying to say

• ​Small, practical exercises you can take home and apply in your daily life

​You'll leave with something underneath the practice - a reason for it that goes deeper than stress relief. Whether you've meditated for years or never quite figured out what you're supposed to be doing, this evening meets you where you are.
