Startup & Investor Speed Dinner

​Please DO NOT request to register unless you receive a personal email invitation as an investor or U of A startup. U of A startups will be notified via email about an application process in the coming weeks to submit an application to be considered.

​The University of Alberta is delighted to host an exclusive, invitation-only dinner connecting startups and investors during Edmonton Startup Week.

​This year’s dinner will feature eight emerging startups from a variety of sectors in a dynamic “speed dating” style format. Designed to spark meaningful conversations and valuable connections, the evening offers a unique opportunity for investors and ecosystem leaders to engage directly with innovative founders shaping the future across industries.

​Date: Monday, October 5th, 2026
Time: 6:00–8:30 PM
Venue: Enterprise Square, 1st floor
Dress Code: Business Casual

​The evening will begin promptly with opening remarks, followed by a roundtable dinner with rotating startup introductions at each table. Each startup will have a chance to pitch their company and engage in focused discussions with invited investors and partners.
