Halloween bonfire, roast sweet potatoes & board games, a Saturday night at Tsumagoi Work & Camp (嬬恋牧場Work&Camp).
Halloween Saturday: roast sweet potatoes in the bonfire and play board games. Bring your own potatoes and a game; we all keep the fire going together. We are no bonfire experts either. One evening together at our old mountain resthouse before the cold sets in.
THE EVENING
16:00–21:00; the fire is lit at 16:00. Stay guests can check in from 12:00.
Bring your own sweet potatoes and foil. We watch the embers together and check when they are done.
Bring a board or card game you like; we play by the fire. Costumes are welcome but optional.
Bring your own food and drink. The hosts supply no food; we provide the space, the fuel for the fire and someone watching it. If you share a dish, label its allergens on a card.
Bring your own drinks; we do not sell alcohol. Nobody drives after drinking, so stay the night.
Free if you stay that night at Work&Camp, Camp or on a car stay: pick the 'Staying with us that night' ticket on Luma and give your reservation name.
Your own gear and fuel are welcome. The shop sells firewood (¥1,000 a basket), charcoal (about 3 kg, ¥1,500), fire starters, cans ¥200 and bottles ¥250 (cash, card or PayPay).

Nights are cold: dress for winter (November's normal low is −0.7 °C, JMA Tashiro). The field is unlit at night, so bring a light.

It runs however many come. If a heavy-rain, storm or heavy-snow warning is out, we call it off by 18:00 the day before and refund in full.
