W&W Workshop: Building Strength 101
Well & Wise Women's Group exclusive workshop w/ Ashley: Building Strength 101
The workshop details:
- 90-minute, small-group personal training workshop focused on the fundamentals of strength training across all of the major movement planes
- We'll go through key movement patterns and exercises to engage the whole body and to prioritise for building muscle and improving bone health (with free weights, bands and body weight)
- I'll personally assess your form and current level of ability
- We'll put your new skills into action with a fun, short workout to get you moving
- The location will be in Newport at a wonderful women-owned yoga studio: Hot Yoga Health. It has ample parking and is a short walk from the train station.
The goal is for you to leave with:
- Confidence on how to move your body with a variety of key exercises and movement patterns, with correct form, tips for self guidance and an understanding of what weight/intensity to be moving with now
- To take this confidence home for self-led home-workouts, or to a gym environment, and into life!
- To know where you are in your personal strength journey and how to keep pushing yourself forward
- Post-class snacks in the form of protein-rich and hormone-supporting bites
- A smile on your face, a laugh with likeminded ladies and a sense of accomplishment from the learning and the exercise :)
