(9/17) Free Will vs Destiny: A Salon
We’re told to take charge of our lives — to set goals, manifest, hustle, and make things happen. But sometimes life has other plans. The chance encounter, the unexpected twist, the way things seem to fall into place when we stop forcing it.
So which is it — do we shape our lives, or do they unfold on their own?
At this salon, we’ll explore the tension between creating and surrendering, between free will and destiny. Is life something we actively build, or something that reveals itself when we step back?
We’ll dive into questions like:
✨ How much of life is in our control, and how much is fate or chance?
✨ Do we find more freedom in pushing for what we want, or in letting go of control?
✨ What happens when we stop trying to force outcomes and allow life to surprise us?
✨ Can surrender and ambition coexist — or do they pull us in opposite directions?
✨ Is the “right” life created by effort, or uncovered by trust?
Join us for an open, curious conversation about the balance between agency and destiny, and what it means to truly live in the flow.
Drinks and snacks provided! We’ll be in Chelsea.
Attendance Policy: Please only RSVP if you can make it. If you cancel within 48 hours of an event, you won’t be able to attend the next two salons (exceptions made if you're feeling sick — please stay home and message me if that’s the case). Salons rely on people showing up, so help us keep the vibe right by committing if you can.
PS. Know someone who would love this? Invite them — just have them RSVP separately!
PPS. Want to come but too much of a financial burden? Message me! We can work something out.
