Designing a Social Impact Career That Matters: From Passion to Practice
The social impact sector is shifting under everyone's feet. Funding is uncertain and the policy environment is changing fast. Meanwhile, the personal questions are getting harder, not easier: where are you headed, and does your current path still fit?
This session with Aila Malik is for practitioners who are clear on their values but want to get sharper about their next move. Aila has supported more than 250 mission-driven organizations through their most pivotal moments of change. In this session, she brings that same strategic lens to your career: helping you approach it with a strategy and a clear definition of success.
🌱 What to expect:
You'll work through a practical framework for clarifying your personal vision, mission and values, to center on what success looks like at this specific stage of your career. We will touch on identifying the skills, exposure, and visibility that will matter most, especially during transitions and shade ideas on how to align that strategy through your social media presence, such as LinkedIn. Aila will offer real, field-tested guidance on navigating a sector that is asking a lot of its people right now.
