About Event

Join us for a candid conversation on navigating a new school year.

Homework is where the stress of the school year tends to land. This is a chance to get ahead of it, in a room with other parents experiencing the same thing.

The evening

→ Refreshments and time to meet other parents

→ Insights and data from Opolo founder Carol Grant on setting your family up for homework success this year

→ Hear from mental health professionals on what these kids are actually managing at school, and how to help them settle before homework starts

→ Small group facilitated break out, where everyone answers one question before they leave. What is the one thing that will make homework time less stressful this year?

Your guides for the evening

Carol Grant Founder of Opolo, building homework support for neurodiverse learners

Jenny Lee, MPS, LMHC, ATR Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Art Therapist at Dayspring Behavioral Health, a Seattle area practice serving children, teens, adults and families, with specialties including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder and learning disabilities
