About Event

HR and TA teams are being pushed to move faster, automate more, and prove impact– but it’s not always clear whether AI investments are creating real momentum or just more activity.

Join a half-day, closed-door workshop led by Kyle Lagunas (Founder & Principal Analyst) and Emily Wares (Head of Solutions Consulting, Kyle & Co.). Senior HR and Talent leaders will dig into what’s actually happening in the market—and work through the tradeoffs together.

What to expect:

  • Market observations - drawn from ongoing practitioner conversations and research,

  • A robust leadership discussion + hands-on working session focused on team impact.

  • Facilitated roundtables after each segment (think write share) for candid, practical exchange

This is not presentation-heavy. The value comes from real conversations, real constraints, and shared problem-solving.

What You’ll Walk Away With
A clearer view of where your organization sits on the AI momentum curve, sharper language to describe your current state, and practical ideas you can take back to guide hiring, technology, and operational decisions.

Who Should Attend
Senior HR and Talent leaders responsible for hiring strategy, technology decisions, and operational outcomes– especially those who are actively evaluating AI-enabled tools, navigating platform decisions, or feeling the gap between experimentation and real progress.

Agenda

Date: Thursday, Feb 5
Time: 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM (lunch will be served)
Location: Boston MA

  • Session one focuses on the tension between efficiency and experience. We’ll explore how teams are deciding what to automate, what to standardize, and what still requires human judgment. The goal is not speed for its own sake, but understanding where efficiency helps and where it quietly erodes outcomes.

  • Session two looks at consolidation and decision-making. As platforms expand and capabilities overlap, leaders are being forced to make clearer choices about what matters, what can be let go, and how to align stakeholders around fewer, more intentional systems and processes.

The workshop is rooted in Kyle & Co’s AI Momentum Model, which focuses on whether organizations are building traction with AI over time, not just experimenting or adopting tools in isolation. The discussion will naturally intersect with how modern platforms support coordinated hiring and execution, but this remains an independent, practitioner-led Kyle & Co session
