About Event

Join AISCA for an afternoon at Ikigai Nairobi, where founders, investors, ecosystem builders, and policy voices will gather around one big question: what changes for African AI ventures when compute access is no longer the barrier?

With less than 1% of the world’s GPU compute capacity in Africa, AISCA is working to shift that reality by offering sovereign compute grants to AI founders and researchers, free, with no equity and no strings attached.

AI Skills and Compute Africa Foundation (AISCA) is a pan-African non-profit foundation headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda.

AISCA's core differentiator is singular: it is the only institution in Africa that offers institutional-grade compute grants — subsidised GPU access — to AI researchers, AI-Native Innovators, and skills partners across the continent. This is what separates AISCA from every other AI capacity-building organization operating in Africa today.

Expect a lively mix of conversation, a panel discussion, four breakout tables, and a networking lunch that brings together the venture room and a parallel AI policy roundtable.

It’s a chance to swap ideas, meet the people building across the continent, and dig into the infrastructure, funding, and policy moves that can open up the next wave of AI innovation in Africa.
