Speed Dating: Lisdoonvarna Festival
Elle Wilson of Met Through Friends and Mary Timby are partnering with The Hydro Hotel to host the 2026 Lisdoonvarna Festival's largest speed dating event. Join us on the final Saturday night of the festival for a series of dates with other great singles in your age range, followed by guaranteed entry to The Hydro Nightclub.
Join us for an evening of thoughtfully planned mini-dates with other festival-goers looking for love. No pressure, just an opportunity for some 1:1 time with other people in your age range before continuing out for a night on the town.
Each ticket includes admission to speed dating + admission to The Hydro Nightclub (€15 value). Presale tickets are priced at €20, and are the only way to guarantee entry. Tickets will be priced at €25 at the door pending availability.
Agenda:
8:00-8:15: Check-In (You MUST arrive no later than 8:15 to claim your slot. If you do not arrive by 8:15, your space will be released to walk-ins and you will not be refunded)
8:30-10:00: Speed Dating (Get 5-minute dates with each other person in your age group)
10:00-Late: The Hydro Nightclub (Keep the party going at the hotel's famous nightclub. Revisit earlier conversations, meet other festival-goers, or make some new friends... up to you!)
Beverages, including non-alcoholic options, will be available for purchase.

Q: Can I arrive late or leave early?
A: Due to the structured nature of this event, we cannot permit arrivals after 8:15. If you do not arrive by 8:15, your space will be released to walk-ins, and you will not be refunded.
To protect the integrity of the experience for other guests, we also request that you plan to stay until the end of the speed dating portion. After speed dating is concluded, you'll also be guaranteed entry to The Hydro Nightclub (opening at 10PM), so we strongly recommend you stick around to enjoy it!
Q: How many people will be there?
A: You will have up to 10 speed dates with other singles in your age range. In total, this event will welcome up to 100 singles of all ages.
Q: What age ranges is this event for?
A: All ages are welcome. Please select the ticket type that best reflects your age, as it will determine the age range of the other guests you will meet during speed dating.
Q: What genders/orientations is this event for?
A: All genders and orientations are welcome. Please note that the Men's and Women's Tickets will place you in heterosexual speed dating groups segmented by age. If you do not identify as heterosexual, please select either the Gay Men's or Lesbian ticket option so we can make sure we place you in the appropriate speed dating group.
Q: What is your refund policy?
A: No refunds will be granted, so please only purchase a ticket if you seriously plan to attend. Refunds will not be granted for no-shows or late arrivals.
