Intro to Papercraft

​Come create your own whimsical illustration - using paper!

​In this workshop, participants will learn how to “draw” with paper by creating a small 4in x6 in sketch. Then, they will bring this sketch to life by cutting, assembling, and layering assorted papers and textures to create a layered, colorful artwork. We will experiment with color, and different cutting techniques.  Participants will be able to take a unique piece of art home and learn a new type of art! 

​We will provide:

• ​Instruction on translating your sketch to paper

• ​Assorted papers

• ​Scissors, x-acto knives

• ​Glue and your base card stock!

​MASK REMINDER:
The Collaboratory is a *Masks Required* space. 😷 We also run two air filters/purifiers during our gatherings. If you don't arrive with a mask, don't worry—we'll have them available at the door.
