2/15 Lunar New Year Dumpling Party
Let’s fold dumplings, share abundance & welcome the Lunar New Year together!
In many cultures, dumplings represent abundance, prosperity, and the welcoming of good fortune. Join us on Sunday, Feb. 15th at Little Chef Little Cafe as we gather to create abundance in the Year of the Fire Horse.
Let’s gather to fold some delicious dumplings, mix our own dipping sauces, and enjoy eating family-style. Extra dumplings will be boxed and donated to community fridges in Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan to spread the abundance.
No dumpling-making experience needed - beginners are very welcome! This multicultural gathering is about doing something relaxing and fun together, sharing food, enjoying each other’s company, and contributing something uplifting to our community this winter.

What we’ll be doing:
Filling and folding chicken and/or pork dumplings
Creating your own dipping sauces
Enjoying dumplings family-style
Packing and donating extra dumplings to local community fridges in Queens, Brooklyn, and Manhattan

2:00-2:15 PM Welcome & Mingle
2:15-2:30 PM Demonstrations & Wash Hands
2:30-3:00 PM Fill & Fold Dumplings
3:00-3:15 PM Make Your Own Dipping Sauce
3:15-4:00 PM Enjoy Dumplings Family-style
ℹ️ Good to Know:
This event is BYOB - bring your own beverage.
All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. If you’re unable to attend and do not receive any goods or services, the full ticket price may be treated as a charitable contribution to the extent permitted by law, and a tax receipt will be issued for your records. Or you’re welcome to transfer the ticket to a friend - just notify us of their name at least 60 minutes before the start of the event so we can update the guest list.
