DCC 003 | SELAH | A soft space for overstimulated minds.
SELAH is a quiet, sensory-first social for overstimulated minds.
Built for those who feel everything, cancel plans but wish someone would make them go, and want to be around people without needing to perform.
This is not a party. Not a workshop.
It’s a soft third space where presence counts more than participation.
For this edition, we’re expanding into a larger room and leaning deeper into shared, low-pressure play. The centre of the space becomes a communal table of nostalgic, analogue games — the kind you can join, watch, or drift away from without explanation. Around it, gentle creative stations offer places to offload, tinker, scribble, fold, squeeze, colour, or simply sit.
You’ll find:
A Table of Shared Play with low-stakes, nostalgic games designed for sideways connection
A Fragments + Museum of Thoughts table for collage, letters, confessionals, and one-line journaling
A long Quiet Table for colouring, dot-to-dots, and word puzzles
Mood-supporting drinks, sweets and biscuits, and tactile materials to keep hands busy
Ambient visuals playing softly in the background — familiar, comforting, and easy to ignore
On arrival, you’ll receive a short Mood & Mode Card to help you tune into what you need and gently guide where you might want to start. You can also choose a subtle sticker to signal your mode to others (quiet, hands-busy, open to play, or just here). No explanations required.
Whether you talk, don’t talk, play, watch, or stay in your own bubble, you’ll still feel part of something.
Proof that connection doesn’t always need conversation.
Stay for 30 minutes or the full session. Move at your own pace. Start anywhere.
No pressure.
No fixing.
Just space to come back to yourself.
