Fail Camp: The Honest Conversation Legal Innovation Needs

​77% of legal teams have experienced a failed tech implementation.

​That number looks the same whether you're the firm that built the case for it, or the client who signed off on it.

​Failure Camp is a 90-minute facilitated workshop for the people inside law firms and in-house legal departments who are doing the actual work of experimentation - running pilots that stall, building internal cases for change that go nowhere, adopting tools that don't get used.

​Not every failure means something went wrong. Amy Edmondson calls them "intelligent failures" - experiments in new territory that didn't land as expected. Those are the most valuable kind. In legal, they're the least discussed.

​This session creates a structured space to do exactly that.

​Using a customised version of Value in Failure Canvas, developed by Justice Adda and the Indian LegalTech Network, participants work through individual worksheets to map what happened, what was actually learned, and what the ecosystem needs to hear. This version is built for the people inside institutions - the ones who champion change and absorb what happens when it doesn't take.
