Business Tour & Breakfast: Knifewear
Join EO Calgary for an exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to Knifewear, hosted by EO Calgary Member David Tadman.
In 2007, chef Kevin Kent began selling Japanese knives to Calgary restaurants out of a backpack on his bicycle. Today, Knifewear has grown into a national retailer with six stores across Canada.
Hear from Mike Wrinch, General Manager of Knifewear, about the company's entrepreneurial journey, its growth and how it has maintained its unique culture along the way.
Enjoy a tour of the Inglewood shop and sharpening workshop, a live knife-sharpening demonstration, and breakfast with an opportunity for conversation and Q&A.
