Parenting with Compassion: Creating Bonds with Children that Transcend Rules
The Institute for Muslim Mental Health Presents Meet the Expert Webinar Series
Parenting with Compassion: Creating Bonds with Children that Transcend Rules
with Hamzah Beydoun, LMFT
This session discusses the concept of attachment as the center of creating a secure child–parent bond and relationship. A secure bond supports children in developing a strong sense of identity, confidence, and in feeling safe to share their struggles with parents. We will explore, from an attachment lens, how parenting with compassion informs parenting choices, how to address parenting challenges such as bedtime and tantrums, and how to support children in developing their identity through empathy and choice language. 🌿
Learn how attachment and compassion shape stronger, more secure relationships between parents and children. 🤍
