MyPholyo Playground
On Thursday 5 November, one hundred multi-income earners are coming together at The Old Palace, Hatfield House: founders who advise, executives who sit on boards, consultants who invest, investors who speak, and creators who run companies. Everyone in the room already makes money in more than one way and is already living the future of work, so we get to spend the day on what to do about it.
One hundred people you should probably know
A founder who also invests, a senior executive with a board seat, a consultant with three clients, an investor who advises companies, a creator who owns a business, a corporate leader building something of their own. Different backgrounds, different ways of making money, different things they need next. What connects them is that one job title no longer describes how any of them work and earn.
The interesting part is what happens when we connect them
You have skills people will pay for, you know people who need things, you have opportunities you have to pass on, and you have questions someone else has already solved. Today all of that lives in your head or across a dozen different places. Joining it up is what we are building MyPholyo to do, and Playground is where we do it in a room rather than on a screen.
How we make the connections before you arrive
When you register we ask four things: what you do and what people pay you for, how you earn and the different ways money comes in, what you need next in people, work or opportunities, and what you can offer in experience, skills or introductions.
That is what lets us point you towards the people in the room you should know: someone who could hire you, someone you could hire, someone who has already solved the problem in front of you, someone looking for exactly what you know, and someone who could open up a new way for you to earn.
Why MyPholyo exists
Work has changed and the systems around it have not. A salary and a board role, three clients and a business, a company alongside speaking and investing, advisory work with consulting and shares, and sometimes all of the above. The tools around us were built for a world where one person had one job and one salary. MyPholyo is building the infrastructure for people who earn in more than one way: one place to understand what you do, what you earn, what your time is really worth, what you need next and, increasingly, who you should know.
Bring your real life
Your work, your clients, your salary, your board roles, your business, your speaking, your investments, your time and your questions. Across the day you will see what is making money, what is taking too much time, where you may be charging too little, what you want to grow and what you are ready to stop. You will also meet the people who can change what happens next, whether as a client, a collaborator, an advisor, a customer, an introduction, or simply the person who has already been where you are.

Timings will be confirmed with the venue closer to the day, and sessions are being announced through October.
The setting
The Old Palace at Hatfield House, a long lunch, swings on the lawn, music, fire pits, a professional headshot and a filmed story if you want one, a few surprises, and fireworks to finish. Playground should feel like the world MyPholyo is building: useful, ambitious, connected and a good deal more human.
Who you will hear from
Susan Mackie of the Growth Mindset Institute is curating a workshop. Mark Evans, former MD of Marketing and Digital at Direct Line Group, joins the morning panel. Oliver Cummings, CEO of Nurole, records a live episode of Enter the Boardroom in front of the room. Maria Josife, Head of European FinTech at Erevena, runs a workshop on getting your first board role. More are being announced through October, though the honest answer is that the room is the reason to come.
About the venue
The Old Palace is the Jacobean banqueting hall at Hatfield House in Hertfordshire, twenty-five minutes from King's Cross with the station opposite the park gates.
Things to note
There are one hundred places. Tickets are £120 plus VAT, and every ticket includes three months of MyPholyo.
Requests are reviewed, because we are curating the room.
We will have photographers with us on the day, and the photographs will be used for marketing and shared on social media. If you would rather not be included, please let us know.
