Gathering of Armchair Philosophers

​Come join the first gathering of NS Armchair Philosophers for a brief lecture and follow-on discussion of the much maligned and misunderstood Niccolò Machiavelli.

We'll sip a bit of wine (for those who imbibe) while we examine the historical context that gave rise to Machiavelli's philosophy of power, and discuss how it applies to politics and governance today.

This initial meeting is hosted by Erin, who is active in her local philosophy sharing club, and who will happily host additional meetings on other philosophical topics of interest.
