About Event

One in three women will experience a pelvic floor disorder in her lifetime. Most never seek care - not because treatment doesn't exist, but because no one talks about it.

PROWAH welcomes Dr. Marie-Blanche Tchetgen, fellowship-trained urogynecologist and founder of Namouna Health Solutions LLC, for a candid conversation on pelvic floor health, African women, and the power of breaking the silence.

Drawing on over two decades of clinical expertise and a deep commitment to her community, Dr. Tchetgen will explore why silence around these conditions runs so deep - and what we can do to change it. From the cultural roots of stigma to the specific health factors that shape the experience of women of African heritage, this is a talk designed to inform, empower, and move us to action.
