The Calabar Build Hackathon is calling all innovators, developers, designers, and problem-solvers to create technology that addresses everyday challenges faced in Cross River State.

Bring your best ideas to life and stand a chance to win:
1st Prize: ₦500,000 + Mentorship & Support
2nd Prize: ₦300,000 + Mentorship
3rd Prize: ₦200,000 + Mentorship
All finalists also get visibility, networking opportunities, and access to the Calabar Tech Community ecosystem.
Key Dates
Build Sprint: Nov 30th – Dec 4th
Semi-Finals (Virtual): Friday, Dec 5th — Top 10 teams pitch
Grand Finale (Physical Event): Saturday, Dec 6th — Top 5 teams showcase their solutions live
How to Enter
Form a team (maximum of 5 people) or participate solo.
Build your solution — You may submit a brand-new idea or improve an existing one.
Create a 2-minute video pitch clearly explaining your product, the problem it solves, and its impact.
