Intro to Mahjong (Free)

​If you’ve always wanted to learn how to play, Mahjong but felt intimidated by the rules this event is for you.

​We will have dedicated learning tables set up with simplified "cheat sheets" and friendly guides to walk absolute beginners through the basics of tile recognition, suit pairing, and game flow.

​✨ What to Expect

• ​Beginner Friendly: Zero experience required. We’ll break down the game so you feel confident playing by the end of your first round.

• ​Open Format: This is a casual community afternoon. Show up grab a snack or drink, watch a game, or jump right into a table.

• ​All Supplies Provided: We’ve got the tables, tiles, and guides ready to go.

​The Afternoon Schedule

• ​1:00 PM: Doors open, check-in and settle into the space.

• ​1:15 PM: Instruction will begin.

• ​1:45 PM-5:00 PM: Beginners will break out into tables and play!

​Entry is completely free, but RSVP is required to secure one of the 24 seats this ensures everyone gets a chance to play, we will move people from the wait-list as seats open!
