NYRG Mentorship Kick-Off

​The New York Romanian Group Mentorship Program supports our mission to strengthen and uplift the Romanian community in New York. Our goal is to build meaningful connections between emerging and experienced professionals, creating a space where everyone can grow—personally, culturally, and professionally.

​This in-person meeting is designed to break the ice for participants who were recently matched as well as strengthen the connections that have already been made. The first half of the event will be an interactive workshop. Then, participants are encouraged to branch off and network with other members of the program.

​At this time, a resume-review session will be hosted by Arianna Dărîngă and Rareș Grecu:
Rareș is an Analyst at Deep Ocean Partners, a private credit fund here in NYC, where he covers everything from deal underwriting and credit analysis to portfolio monitoring and data work. He is happy to help with finance and analyst-track resumes in particular.
Arianna is an equity derivatives trader at Societe Generale Corporate & Investment Banking within the Single Stock Light Exotic Equity Derivatives desk. She is also equipped to review resumes aimed at a career in finance.

​Registration is open to eligible applicants: those who have attended a NYRG event in the past six months and reside in the New York Metropolitan Area. Applications to the Mentorship Program in general are reviewed on a rolling basis, and participants are connected as soon as a match is identified.
