AuADHD Meetup
Not only does every expat living in Playa seem to be the black sheep of their family, I wonder if it's correlated with AuADHD.
I've been talking to a lot of you folks about both autism and adhd over the last few weeks, and a few interesting discoveries:
1) I wonder how many of these behviours are deeply engrained from childhood that could be trained out
2) I've had 4 friends mention autism in the last two weeks, they all appear functioning from a spectrum perspective, but both the positives and the negatives for each person are drastically different.
The plan:
People can choose to share what they have (diagnosed or not), and how it manifests for them, how they cope/mask.
No one has to speak, you can just listen. This intended to be a safe space, no recording devices welcome (cameras, microphones, AI devices etc) without consent of all attendees.
The idea:
We'll probably learn more about how we can support each other, but maybe also learn things about ourselves.
