Playful Futures PD: Free 90-min pilot for educators and school teams
Futures work doesn't have to be heavy. This 90-minute pilot is a hands-on introduction to playful futures methods for people who teach, lead, and support learning.
The room chooses the game. We'll play it together.
Choose one (or vote with the group):
- Futures Bingo. A playful warm-up for spotting the signals of change already around you. Makes the invisible visible and surfaces the unspoken.
- A New Game of Life. A four-move practice for the stories under the stories. Surface, system, worldview, metaphor.
- Playing with Power. A role-play with four school characters: student, teacher, dean, admin. Watch who holds power, who wants it, and what shifts when it moves. Useful for anyone wondering why dynamics in a classroom, school, or district keep repeating.
Each one gives you a method you can take back into your classroom, your staff meeting, your curriculum planning.
What you'll leave with:
- Direct experience of one futures method - A sense of how futures work lives in play, not lecture
- An optional invitation to go deeper via the FLIP cohort (12 weeks, braiding Artist's Way, Hero's Journey, and Futures Alphabet)
