Demo Day: August 2026

​The Bachelor of Technology Class of 2026 is ready to show its work.

​4 years of school
+ 8 months of intensive build
= 1 evening of ambitious, fully functioning project demos

​On August 20th, 28 students across 6 teams will present their final capstone projects.

​These are not hypothetical solutions to imaginary problems. Each team is matched with a real client, with a real business challenge. There's no hypotheticals and what-if's. They built a product that now has to do the slightly terrifying thing every product eventually must: work in front of people.

​This is why I am such a fan of project-based learning. There is nowhere to hide behind theory!

​This will also be the last time this group gathers in one room as students. After that, they step into careers, new challenges, and the time-honoured professional tradition of pretending every setback was “an important learning.”
