​It seems like the US Economy has been “Waiting for Godot” for the first half of 2025.  Despite inflationary pressures from on-again, off-again tariffs, major changes to US investment and taxation policies in nearly every sector from energy, trade, automotive, and technology, leading indicators show resilience, if some volatility.  Where do we go from here?  Hear from the Port Authority of NY and NJ's Deputy Director of Planning and Regional Development and Chief Economist about the state of the regional economy. Bring your questions about the national and regional economic outlook and what it means for you, your family and your organization.  

​Our Speaker:

​Duncan Kisia is the Deputy Director of Planning and Regional Development and Chief Economist at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey. Mr. Kisia is responsible for guiding the agency’s economic research agenda that informs investment and policy decisions. 

​Before joining the Port Authority, Duncan managed the Economics & Planning Department at Louis Berger U.S. (now WSP), where he led several consulting engagements for both public and private sector clients. He previously also held highway and bridge design positions in the Civil Engineering and Highway Department of DMJM+Harris (now AECOM) in Philadelphia.

​Mr. Kisia received his Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and also holds Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Drexel University.
