Next Table: Guided American Mahjong Play

You’ve learned the basics of American Mahjong. Now let’s get more comfortable putting them together at the table!

Next Table is a relaxed, guided practice session for players who have taken First Table or another beginner class. We’ll play real hands, pause when questions come up, and work through decisions together—from choosing a hand to the Charleston, calling tiles, and knowing what to discard.

You do not need to be fast or have it all memorized. This is your place to practice.

Tuesday, November 10 · 6:00–8:30 PM
The Handsome Cab · York, PA

Please bring your 2026 NMJL card. Mahjong sets and racks will be provided.

Make an evening of it! Happy hour at The Handsome Cab runs from 4:30–6:30 p.m., so come early and enjoy a quick bite or cocktail before class at special prices.

Drinks and food may be ordered throughout the event, and we’ll take a planned break midway through each session to refresh, recharge, and perhaps order another little something.

Seats are limited to keep the tables small and the guidance useful. Reserve your seat to join us!
