About the curation
At the heart of this exhibition stands the tree — a living symbol of continuity, memory, and growth, an embodiment of the strength of our cultural and community construction. The trunk represents the collective force that emerges from shared bonds, while the branches extend into the individual trajectories of each artist—expanding in multiple directions and expressing singular identities within a shared ecosystem.
However, this tree does not only grow upward. It is sustained by its invisible roots: the underground networks of collaboration, reciprocity, and care that allow us to exist and expand in dialogue with multiple local and global communities.
The curatorial concept revolves around the central premise: “Artists curating artists.”
This community-based dynamic invites members of the Newtro collective to each select five additional artists from the Tezos ecosystem, creating the conditions for a curatorial network that brings together works from artists across different times, paths, and contexts.
In this way, the curatorial structure becomes a living network of connections, where the selection methodology operates as a symbolic practice: each choice is a new sprout added to the collective tree, each node a point of exchange between memories and possible futures.

Newtro is a collective of artists and cultural builders that, since 2022, has promoted the creation, exhibition, and circulation of digital art in relation to blockchain technologies and the Web3 ecosystem.
