About Event

Artificial intelligence is already reshaping the workforce—and Congress has a central role to ensure the economy of the future strengthens America’s competitiveness and help workers to utilize AI paired with human-centered leadership.

This expert panel will focus on practical, real‑world approaches to measuring the economic impacts of AI and how we can build a flexible, adaptable, and resilient workforce.

From their experience training federal workers, Data Society will share the latest insights from work across numerous federal agencies and the private sector. Gain the latest forecasts and insights from independent economists and bipartisan policy thinkers on emerging tools being used today to provide for an agile federal and private‑sector workforce for tomorrow and how demand for AI skills is changing in regions and industry sectors.

Participants will also explore policy considerations for Congress—how to spur innovation while protecting jobs and ensure AI systems are deployed responsibly, transparently, and with necessary human oversight.
