Leadership Hackathon – « Jetzt längt’s! / Enough is enough »
DESCRIPTION
Alpiq and We Power Up are launching their partnership with a working format, not a ceremony. You are invited as a guest from outside Alpiq – one of around 20 to 25 external leaders, working side by side with the same number of Alpiq employees. Future and existing leaders, women and men, 40 to 50 people in total.
Why. 22% women in executive management, unchanged. 21% of newly appointed executives are women – the lowest rate since 2020. 34% women on boards. 14% women CEOs among the 100 largest Swiss employers. 14 to 34% is not enough: women represent 51% of Swiss society. (Schilling Report 2026, Guido Schilling AG)
How it works. Hackathon style: we frame the challenge and who it affects, move into sense-making to surface the patterns, levers and assumptions behind it, open up to ideation and pick the strongest directions, build a prototype – a mini-experiment with test logic and first artefacts – and close with a pitch & dialogue in front of senior leaders, for feedback and commitment.
Programme. 10:00 opening and official partnership launch · 10:30 external guest speaker · 10:55 the Hackathon, with lunch buffet served during the session · 13:00 results and voting, with a reward for the winning team · 13:30 cake & celebration.
Bring a topic. We will tackle different perspectives and problems behind the still too low representation of women in leadership roles. If you have a topic to suggest, add it when you register – we will look at it seriously.
Open to women & men. Language: English. Places are limited, on a first come, first served basis. We count you in.
