​MT. SEMBRANO + THREE FALLS HIKE 🥾

​Manggahan Falls • Daranak Falls • Batlag Falls

​Another Candid Club hiking trip, and this time we're squeezing in three waterfalls after a mountain summit!

​We're heading to Rizal to hike Mt. Sembrano, a beginner-friendly mountain with forest trails, rocky climbs, open grasslands, and views overlooking Laguna de Bay.

​After the hike, we're making our way to Manggahan, Daranak, and Batlag Falls for a much-needed dip and a little time to enjoy the water.

​It's a full day outdoors, so expect an early start, plenty of walking, and very tired legs by the time we get home. 😂

​⛰️ OUR STOPS

​01 / MT. SEMBRANO

​Our main hike for the day! We'll make our way up the mountain through forested and rocky trails before reaching the summit overlooking Laguna de Bay and the surrounding landscape.

• ​Elevation: Approximately 745 MASL

• ​Difficulty: 3/9 (Minor Climb)

• ​Estimated ascent: 2–4 hours

​02 / MANGGAHAN FALLS

​A waterfall stop along the Mt. Sembrano trail. A chance to cool down and take a break after all that climbing.

​03 / DARANAK FALLS

​One of Tanay's best-known waterfalls, with a wide cascade and natural pool surrounded by greenery.

​04 / BATLAG FALLS

​Our last stop! Another waterfall near Daranak, where we'll have time to relax before making our way back to Manila.

​🎒 WHAT TO BRING

• ​Hiking shoes with good grip

• ​Comfortable hiking clothes

• ​Swimwear, towel, and extra clothes

• ​At least 2–3 liters of water

• ​Packed lunch and trail snacks

• ​Raincoat or poncho

• ​Waterproof bag for valuables

• ​Sunscreen and personal medications

• ​Extra cash for personal expenses

​Registration alone does not secure your slot. Full payment is required, and your registration will only be confirmed once we've received and verified your payment.

​📌 REFUND & EVENT CREDIT POLICY

​We understand plans can change, but we also need to finalize transportation, guides, and other arrangements ahead of the trip.

• ​More than 3 days before the event: Refunds or Candid Club event credits may be requested.

• ​Within 3 days of the event: Payments are final and cannot be refunded or converted into event credits.

• ​Last-minute cancellations and no-shows: No refunds or credits will be issued.

​All requests must be communicated before the three-day cutoff.

​⚠️ A FEW REMINDERS

​Mt. Sembrano is classified as a minor climb, but there are steep and rocky sections, so please come prepared for a proper hike.

​Our waterfall stops and swimming activities will depend on the weather and conditions on the day. We'll always prioritize everyone's safety and follow our local guides' recommendations.
