About Event

Why was Poblenou once called the Catalan Manchester?

🚶 Join us for a guided 3 km walk through one of Barcelona’s most interesting neighbourhoods — from its flourishing industrial past and factories to the street protests of 1900s, war in Morocco and first labour movements. Think about it: 200+ factory chimneys once stood in Poblenou. Only 29 survive today. This tour is the perfect chance to see Poblenou for what it was once.

After the walk, we’ll head to one of our partner venues for three glasses of rare wine from the Elowines collection, accompanied by light snacks. Each wine we open is worth around €35 per bottle and comes from small European producers nobody else is selling in Spain. 🍷

We’ve already hosted 15+ tours like this, bringing together more than 150 people.

The event is hosted by Elowines — a community that helps you discover rare wines and experience wine in a new way.

Your ticket includes:
- the guided Poblenou tour,
- three glasses of wine
- some light snacks (chips, olives)

Please expect around 2–3 km of walking.

We are so excited to welcome you on this Sunday walking tour!

Elowines — rare wines, shared discoveries, new experiences.
