​About Gorls Who Eat

​Gorls Who Eat is a body image support group including a monthly book club and events. At every gathering, you can count on a safe, supportive space where diet talk and body comments simply don’t exist.

​About this event

​GWE Beach Club is for the gorl who has ever felt too embarrassed or ashamed of her body to fully enjoy the beach. This is where you can show up knowing your body is safe to exist as is and is deserving of a beautiful, sunny beach day.

​These aren't your typical beach hangs. They're intentionally body-safe. That safety is created through our Community Handbook and a group of like-minded gorls who consistently lift one another up.

​Once a month, we'll gather at North Ave beach to enjoy the fullness of summer in the bodies we have now, instead of waiting for smaller versions of ourselves.

​At each GWE Beach Club, I'll guide us through a brief body image reflection or activity before we spend the afternoon swimming, playing, snacking, chatting, and making summer memories together.

​Your Ticket Includes

• ​an intentionally body-safe beach experience guided by our Community Handbook

• ​meaningful connection with people who make it easier to exist in the body you have

​RSVP closes at 7/23.

​Tickets are non-refundable, but transferable to another attendee up to 48 hours prior to the event.
